To Be Fae, Or Not To Be Fae, That Is The Question

I just couldn't make up my mind in what order to put these photos.  I was really going for an elf/fairy theme to start with, but then I drifted off to the jewelry emphasis--which I suppose is appropriate for this blog.  I really like this set of jewelry, so I finally decided to move this photo to the top so you could get a good view--it's a close up shot of the new Sylvain Necklace & Earrings in gold with aquamarine stones.  There are two sets, both of which change textures to give you gold or silver, and a choice of 4 gemstones.  The aquamarine is in set #1, which also includes a green turquoise, amethyst (shown at the bottom), and a lovely coral.  Set #2 includes amber (shown in photo 2 and 3), a pretty blue abalone, gold agate, and jade.  See...I did start off with fairies and elves on my mind--even as I was building.

You can find both Sylvain sets at the ELEMENTAL JEWELRY mainshop:
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Belle%20Island/232/31/23
And, set #2 is on sale!

Yes, I have already started making adjustments so that it will be available for petite mesh avatars.  So, patience my little friends, just a few more tweeks and it will be out next week!  Petite me is very anxious to wear this one, so I'm sure there will be blog photos!

Petite Celeste

This is a small post about some very tiny jewelry.  HeHe.  I really like chainmaille jewelry, although I imagine that the real thing might get rather heavy.  In SL, of course, weight is not an issue, so I've made this lovely set that I named after my friend Celeste.  I flew over to Fairyland to snap some pics.  I looked at several spots, but I just can't find many petite places that I think are more lovely than Fairyland.  Above, I am wearing a dress I purchased at ThatChick Petites some time ago, but I just never found a set of jewelry to match it.  I think this fits the bill.  This is the new Petite Celeste set in Dark Aurora Borealis.  It changes texture between silver and gold, and 4 different "dark" stones.  There is also a Light Aurora Borealis set, pictured below.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Petite Celeste Necklace & Earrings, available in Dark or Light Aurora Borealis, texture changing.  Here's a slurl to take you to the inworld shop--

All White And Glowy

Merry Christmas!  My day has wound down, and my belly is full of good holiday food, so I've taken some time to relax and snap some photos in SL.  This month at PurpleMoon, there is a fantastic group gift--a beautiful poufy white dress.  It has a lovely white fur stole to wear around your shoulders.  I thought it looked great with a set of jewelry I've been working on for some time--the Celeste Necklace & Earrings.  The Celeste pieces are chainmaille, so they really catch the light in interesting ways.  There are three sets from which to choose--two sets have aurora borealis stones in 4 texture changing choices.  Here you see the Light Aurora Borealis set, but there is also a Dark Aurora Borealis set and a Semi-Precious set with Turquoise, Opal, Peridot, Purple Agate, Lapis, and Red Coral stones.  There is also a special edition set in silver and black onyx.  It doesn't change textures, but it is sold as a set, so it's a really good bargain.

I'm Already Tired Of Snow!

You know, it's Christmas time, so I guess I should be posting some winter scenes for the season.  But, all I need to do is look out my rl window to see the white stuff, and I do like green places the best.  So, let's just close our eyes and pretend that I've taken a trip south for my holiday vacation!  HeHe.  Besides that, winter clothes don't really offer the opportunity to show off a fabulous pendant.  I picked up this great mesh top over at ColdLogic.  I don't really like mesh dresses, but I do like mesh tops if I can find one that really fits.  You have to adjust the placement of your jewelry just a bit or it will sink into the mesh, but I think it's worth it.  Here, let me give you a close up:

This is the Astra Pendant & Earrings from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY.  The one shown above is the turquoise from the "Blues" set, silver or gold with 3 blue stone choices--it's texture changing, so no need to buy three.  There's also lapis lazuli and larimar in this one.  Below is the "Reds" set, shown with gold & coral, but also including ruby and rose quartz.  You will also find a "Greens" set with peridot, malachite, and a green turquoise, and a "Neutrals" set with moonstone, tiger eye, and slowflake obsidian.  Oh, and there's a slightly modified version available for my petite friends @ PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY!

Well, I'm off to finish wrapping some gifts.  Hop on over to ELEMENTAL to have a look at some of the new, and old, designs.  You're sure to find something to add bling to your holiday!

Tessa's Traditional Holiday

Don't you think that Christmas is a time for tradition and classics?  I'm at my friend Celeste's house admiring her Christmas tree and wondering whether any of those pretty gifts are for me.  Hmm.  Should I shake the largest one, or the smallest...

I'm wearing a very festive, red dress just right for my traditional holiday color scheme, and the Victoria Necklace & Earrings from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--a very classic design.  This jewelry comes in 4 color packs, the one above being the "Royals", which includes this vibrant red garnet and green tsavorite--perfect for my traditional holiday garb!  You can mix and match the stones--choose two colors, or go with all the same stone.  There are 4 stone choices in each pack, as well as gold and silver metal.  The other packs include "Pastels" (shown below), "Bolds", and "Neutrals".  All are available at the mainshop, as well as next door at the PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY shop.

Here are slurls to pop you right over to the shops:

The Petite Princess Council Is In Session

If you drop into either ELEMENTAL or PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY right now, you will find a bunch of new crowns and tiaras.  What can I say?  I've been feeling like a princess, and evidently so have my friends.  Here you see me in the purple and my friend Princess Celeste in blue, and we are both wearing the new Petite Snow Queen Tiara, which  is available in 3 color sets--Bold colors, Light colors, and Opals.  They are all three silver because, well, snowflakes aren't supposed to be gold.  You can adjust the sizing for various brands of petite mesh avatars, and you can adjust the glow, shine, and full bright to your liking.
There is also a series of golden petite tiaras--the Petite Queen of Hearts tiaras, all of which feature a sparkly faceted gem shaped like a heart.  (You couldn't guess that, right?)  Below, I'm wearing the heart tiara as well as the Jehan Necklace & Earrings in blue.

Below is the Petite Queen of Hearts tiara in pink topaz along with the new Sasha necklace & earrings.

All of these tiaras are also available in standard sizing, but you'll have to go next door to the "big" ELEMENTAL JEWELRY shop for those.  There you will also find The Queen Eleanor and King Henry crowns.  If you are into royal role play, you will want to have a look at these.  And, that's right, I did make one to fit the gentlemen!  Actually, that was the first one I made.  Surprise!

Just A Bit Of Shopping

I just couldn't resist snapping this picture of me doing a bit of Christmas shopping.  From the looks of things, though, I think I need a warm coat--let's add that to Santa's list.  I'm a little behind in my blogging due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but I'm back now with some new jewelry items from ELEMENTAL.  In the photo above and at the bottom of the page, you will see the Sasha Necklace & Earrings.  Sasha has 4 texture changing medallions and 4 sets of stone beads to match.  The medallions are all the same motif, just in different colors.  I really like this burgandy one, which will look great with several of my winter outfits.  There is also a deep blue, a pretty teal, and an earthy brown included in the set--all very warm colors for cold weather.

This week's second new release from ELEMENTAL is the Jehan Necklace & Earrings, a texture changing set with 6 floral medallions and beads in 6 semi-precious stones--turquoise, purple, gold, pink, green, and a lovely periwinkle blue.  I've read that turquoise is going to be big in 2013, so you might want to start collecting some pieces now--for yourself as well as for holiday gift giving.

Long Ago & Far Away

That's right--I've acquired yet another new dress from Sn@tch.  Isn't it too cute?  I have a fat pack, so I'll get plenty of mileage out of this one.  And the colors are perfect for the new Caliana Necklace and Earrings, above, from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY.  This is the set in purple, but it changes texture, so it's like a fat pack too!  There are six medallions and six semi-precious stones included, and it can be silver or gold.  The stones include blue, lavender, or peach moonstone, yellow sapphire, green turquoise, and pink rhodochrosite.  I really love vivid colors and geometric designs and this one really fits.

Here's another splash of color--the Rasine Necklace & Earrings in aqua.  This set is the same design as Caliana, but with six floral medallions in shades of yellow, purple, blue, red, aqua, and orange, plus stone and beads in blue chalcedony, turquoise, lavender sugalite, yellow aventurine, orange jasper, and fire agate.  You can find both Caliana and Rasine at ELEMENTAL JEWELRY:

Let It Snow

It's a bit early for me to be in the "holiday spirit", but it's never too early to go ice skating.  The Holiday Village sim is truly a winter wonderland right now, and the ice skating area is just gorgeous.  Don't worry about skates, they can be found right there at the side of the frozen rink.  There aren't petite skates yet, but that never stopped a fairy did it?  My friend Celeste Twig and I just hopped onto the skating poseballs and took off, weaving past polar bears, penguins, and through a very long ice tunnel.  Don't forget to turn on the holiday music while you skate, and be sure to check out some of the shops for some great gift giving--there is even a petites mall on the sim.

In the top photo, I'm wearing this week's new releases from PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--the Let It Snow Necklace & Earrings and the Snowflake Bead Necklace.  Both are texture changing and can be resized to fit a variety of petite avatars.  The Let It Snow set is the one with the snowflake pendant on a chain and the earrings shown here.  The jewelry can be gold or silver, and there are 6 gem colors from which to choose.  The gem colors are coordinated with the colors of the Snowflake Bead sets, of which there are two.  Each of the Snowflake Bead sets includes the long strand of beads which can be snowflake obsidian or pearls in various colors--white, blue, pink, green, aqua, or violet.  There are snowflakes in the same colors, and the beads also have a matching pair of earrings as well.  There are three sets sold separately.  You can wear them alone, or "add" the beads to the Let It Snow pendant for a layered look as shown here.  And all three sets are on sale this weekend for 50 to 60L each!

Petite Mesh Avatars--All Kinds!

You may not be able to tell it from the above photo, but I'm doing a zombie dance on  top of a grave.  LOL.  My friend Jilly sent me a landmark for Shrinkyween, over at the Shrinky Dink sim--they are really in the spirit.....ha ha.  I'm also modeling the new Petite Amanda jewelry from PETITE ELEMENTAL.  Yes, it's texture changing--and resizable.  Which reminds me--I went over to the Petite Kingdom today and picked up a demo of the Yabusaka Petite Mesh Avatar 2 because one of my customers wanted to know whether my jewelry would fit avi #2.  Well, that is a nice little avi!  It's figure is a bit more "human" compared to my little fairy self shown here, but you can get a fairy ear add on kit.  The face is just beautiful....I think I may need one.  In any case, the PETITE ELEMENTAL jewelry fits just fine.  The #2 avi is a bit taller, so you will have to edit and reposition it onto the new avi, but the fit is really good without any resizing--which means even the older PETITE ELEMENTAL items will fit.  I also tried a demo of the new Immortal petite avatars.  The jewelry fits them as well, but you will need to use the resizer to enlarge it a bit, and reposition it for the taller avi.  I don't recommend older PETITE ELEMENTAL jewelry for the Immortals--stick with the newer jewelry that has a resizer.

As you can see from these photos, there are 3 sets of the Petite Amanda jewelry--Reds, Blues, & Greens.  Each set can be gold or silver, and the stones include 5 gemstone textures, which you can mix & match.  It's all on sale this weekend, so get it before the price goes up to the usual reasonable price.  Here's a slurl to the mainshop:

Alimah Visits Japan

I took a walk at Edo Japanese Castle, a role play sim in SL.  Now, I don't know about the role play, and I was kind of glad there weren't many people around.  But it sure is a pretty sim, and I had a nice time looking around.  I'm wearing a new top I got at Sn@tch.  (I know, I get many things there.  Well, what can I say?  Those fat packs of cute tops are great for jewelry photos.  And, hey, they have a big sale this weekend, so run on over!)  I'm also wearing the Alimah jewelry set from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--there are 5 sets to select from, each with texture changing beads with 5 semi-precious stones to choose from, and 4 different ornamental beads (the large ones).  And, of course, you can make it silver or gold, resize it, adjust the glow, shine, etc.  Above, I'm wearing the Alimah "Neutrals" set in gold agate--this set includes blacks, whites, golds.

And here I'm wearing the "greens" set--it includes 5 different green shades like the blue-green amazonite above, but also emerald, and yellow-green peridot, etc.  And, oh, I do love purple.  The set below is purple agate, but there are 4 other purple shades as well.  When you pop into the shop, you will also find a blue and red set.  Something for everyone and every outfit.  Here's a slurl to the mainshop:

Petite Aurora

I wear this dress often when I am my petite self--both because I just like it, and because it's such a great vibrant blue to match up with jewelry.  It's from Just Winging It, a great little petite shop owned by Moonbeam Jillybean.  Jilly is relocating to the Carriage Trade sim, so you should go have a look.  Her dresses all come with matching wings, and they are all priced @ about 50L, so you can pick up several!  This is the new petite jewelry from PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY, the Aurora Necklace & Earrings.  (You saw it last week for standard size avi's.)  I've had a bunch of folks im me to let me know they really love this jewelry, and it just makes me really happy to hear that they are enjoying it.

There are 2 sets to choose from--The Dark Aurora Necklace & Earrings (shown at top), and the Light Aurora Necklace & Earrings (above).  This jewelry is texture changing, silver or gold, with 4 color choices for the aurora borealis gems, and 4 semi-precious stone textures for the beads.  Here's a slurl for the PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY mainshop in Second Life (r):

I had to include a shot of this beautiful dress from Kastle Rock Petites @ Kastle Enchanted Petite Village.  I have this dress in several colors for my petite avi, as well as for my standard size avi.  It's very shimmery and comes in some gorgeous colors, some with a color gradient.  I happen to be at Kastle Enchanted Petite Village in these photos.  Spooky Mistwallow has done a great job on this lovely sim, and I think she is still working on it.  It is well worth a walk.

An Autumn Walk In The Misty Mountains

When the leaves start turning in autumn, it's time for a walk in the woods.  Don't ya think?  I popped over to Misty Mountain, a perfect spot for such an outing.  (Isn't that a song by Led Zeppelin?  Misty Mountain Hop?  It's a great song, if you've never heard it you should look it up on You Tube.)  I just bought the latest hair from Truth, and I had to show it off, plus this week's new release from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY, the Amanda pendants and earrings.  This jewelry is named after my friend Amanda (aka Susan Branch) because it just looks like something she might wear.  There are three sets--Blues, Greens, and Reds, each with a central color theme and a couple of analagous colors thrown in for contrast.  That's right, it changes textures, from gold to silver, and there are 5 stone choices in each set.  The stones can be all the same color if you're feeling monochromatic, or you can mix and match as you please.  The colors show up great over a black top, and the "Reds" set will look great for your fall outfits--there are some beautiful red and orangy colors included.

Aurora Borealis Fantasy

Witches, and Goblins, and Elves....OH MY!!  lol.  Do I look like the wicked queen?  That's the look I was going for.  Role Playing is a popular activity in Second Life, and I have been convinced to give it another try.  I think we've established that I can't seem to stay in character, but my friends are very forgiving and have actually written my lapses into the modern world into my story line.  Above, you see a portrait of Tessa, Lady of Phantasia, in my tower at Kingdom Phantasia.  Born a princess and adored by my father, the King, I followed the footsteps of my mother to become a time-traveling sorceress--just can't help it, it's in the blood.  Thus, you never know how you will find me dressed, my speech patterns are at times odd, and there are also some interesting...technologies, music, and such to be found at Kingdom Phantasia.  I am sister to the recently widowed King, my brother Tucker, and have, due to my caring nature, stepped in as the Lady of the Kingdom--muahahahaha.  (My neice, Celeste, the Princess Royal, would have me insert here that I am a "good" sorceress and just hamming it up for All Hallow's Eve.  And it's true.)  None-the-less, Tucker has commanded me to keep my "activities" in my tower at Kingdom Phantasia, and he's assigned a Driad, whose name changes daily (hear that Rase?), to keep me out of trouble.  LOL.

Above, I am wearing a couple of beautiful dresses from the vintage room at Evie's Closet.  (I love Evie's Closet--thanks Evie!)  And I have on new jewelry from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--The Dark Aurora Necklace & Earrings.  Below, you will see the Light Aurora set.  Each set is texture changing, with 4 aurora borealis textures on the faceted gems, and 4 semi-precious stone textures on the beads.  The metal changes between silver and gold.  You can also play with the shine, glow, full bright, and transparency for lots of different effects.  The crown is part of the Crown Jewels of Phantasia set, which is not yet available but soon will be.

Bewitched Opalescence

I know it's a bit early to be dressed up for Halloween, but I just couldn't help myself!  I bought this fantastic black dress at Kastle Rock Couture and thought it would be a great dress for the holiday.  I was working on a set of jewelry called Opalescence in Light and Dark Opals, and I decided that it would be perfect for the season with some dark, eery opals.  I also added a dark metal texture that really sets it off.  Above is the Bewitched Opalescence set with dark metal and Purple Night opals.

OMG!  Look behind you Tessa!!  lol.  I call this opal "fire" because with the black background and flame colored highlights...well, it reminds me of fire.  Perfect for All Hallow's Eve.

And what's Halloween without some green, glowy slime?  This black opal has green fire, and is called "green glow".

Last, but not at all least, is a bit cheerier orange opal called "pumpkin".  I'm thinking of carving some jack-o-lanterns.  I never buy anything but real pumpkins, and I carve them myself--it has to be my favorite Halloween activity.

You will also find Light Opalescence jewelry with brighter opals in blue, pink, yellow, and purple.  And there is Dark Opalscence jewelry with smoky opals in blue, green, pink, and black.  All three sets have texture changing metal as well--gold, silver, and dark metal.

And...all three sets are on sale this week in the 60L Weekend Sale!  Run on over to the new ELEMENTAL JEWELRY shop and get dressed up for the season!  Here's a slurl to the mainshop inworld:

The Petite Goddess Athena

I'm showing off my newest petite dresses!  The one above is from a favorite shop of mine - Sn@tch.  (No, that's not a link, it's one of those automatic computer things.)  The two below are from another favorite..Kastle Rock Petites.  And...I'm at a new sim that is petite friendly...Kingdom Phantasia.  KP is a medieval themed sim, but everyone is welcome.  Look closely, because hidden in some groves of trees are some special petite places.

Well, after some tinkering on my part, you can now have the Athena Necklace and Earrings to fit your petite mesh avatar.  And it's texture changing!  Now remember, for petites it's a bit tricky changing those textures.  You have to swing your camera behind the avi, and zoom in in order to click on the earrings.  And sometimes you have to do the same for close fitting necklaces, although for the Athena you can just click the necklace from the front.  Petite Athena comes in your choice of gold or silver.  Each has texture changing stones.  The gold set has Ruby, Jade, Lapis Lazuli, and Purple Sapphire.  The silver set has Pink Tourmaline, Purple Sugalite, Turquoise, and Tiger Eye.

Here's the slurl for the new location of PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY:

And a photo of me standing in front of the new shop wearing last week's new petite release...The Zelda Beads & Earrings....also texture changing.  You will notice also that the necklace is a bit longer than most petite necklaces.  I've had some comments that it would be nice to have some for petites, so here you go!

Chloris--A Jewelry Tribute To The Greek Goddess Of Flowers

Okay, I watched a show about gods & goddesses in various cultures, so I've been reading a bit about them--thus the recent jewelry names.  lol.  Chloris was the Greek goddess of flowers--and I thought Cloris (no"h") was just a very funny lady!  In honor of the goddess--ELEMENTAL JEWELRY presents the Chloris Necklaces and Earrings.  The lariat necklace is a long chain with a floral motif on one end, and a long, slender stone on the other.  The end slips through an open flower petal to form the necklace.  There are 3 sets--each is texture changing with either gold or silver metal and a choice of 3 lovely gemstones.  Set #1 includes Blue Chalcedony, Rose Quartz, & Green Aventurine.  Set #2--Gold Aventurine (great for your fall colors), Lapis Lazuli, & Green Peridot.  Set #3--Red Coral, Black Onyx, & Purple Sugalite.  Plus, you control the amount of glow, shine, transparency, and full bright.  And, of course, it is resizable for a customized fit.  (The instructions for the change menu have been updated to help you navigate the menus.  It's really easy once you see the scheme, but there was some understandable confusion between "color" and "texture".)  I think the blue chalcedony and green aventurine look really good with about 20% transparency.
