Simone Enjoys The View

I've been reading travel blogs again and found this really lovely sim called Natural Mignon Colore.  I can't tell you how beautiful the landscape is, and how vivid the colors.  I'm still not finished exploring, so you can expect to see more later.  I crawled through one of those little doors that you see all over SL, and ended up in an art gallery with big, blue, glowing windows.  I'm wearing new jewelry from ELEMENTAL with which I'm very pleased.  This is a set called Simone, an asymmetrical design with beautiful semi-precious stones.  I especially like the blue Lapis Lazuli, above.

Here is the "Reds" Simone set, shown here with a deep red abalone and dark silver metal.  I think it looks nice with this red and black dress.  Below, is the "Greens" set with an especially pretty green turquoise.  You can find the Simone jewelry this week @ ELEMENTAL.  It's the new release, and it's all at fantastically low introductory prices.  The "Blues" set is in the 60L Weekend Sale, and the other pieces are 75L.  (Yes, I'm busy, as usual, and will no doubt leave it on sale all week!  lol.)  Be sure to stop by the ELEMENTAL mainshop--it's freshly remodeled!

Sorcha Has The Blues

I have this fantastic new dress from Snowpaws!  It's such a beautiful blue color that I had to im Carrie and tell her how beautiful it is...and I've worn it for at least two weeks solid, maybe it's been three!  It goes great with this new set of jewelry from ELEMENTAL--I call it Sorcha, and it is packed with possibilities.  There is a set of three necklaces that can be worn separately or stacked together.  Each necklace has 17 different cord textures, 4 stone textures, 4 metals, and 16 bead textures to mix and match.  There are matching earrings, and bracelets.

You could wear one or two of the necklaces with jeans or a casual dress--the shortest necklace would look great as a single.  Or you could opt for earrings or bracelets alone if you were wearing a high neckline.
Set 1 includes stones of Lapis (shown below), a pretty green chrysoprase, black spiderweb obsidian, and red carnelian.  Set 2 includes turquoise, green jasper, purple sugalite (shown above), and red coral.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Sorcha Necklaces, Earrings, and Bracelets.  Texture changing with two color sets from which to choose.
Hair:  D!VA--Astralia in black amber.  Purchased on sale @ Collabor88.
Skin:  League--Jen in pales.  Purchased full price.

Circe's Jewels

Circe, Greek goddess of magic, daughter of Helios & Perse, exiled to an island for murdering her husband (wonder what he did?).  Here she is, searching the woods for herbs to use in her potions.  When I was a child, my school library had a huge book about gods and goddesses.  It was filled with beautiful pictures of the immortals, and I loved to check it out and look at those pictures.  I am still fascinated by the tales and enjoy designing jewelry that I think the goddesses might wear.  Thus, the frequent theme.

I think Circe might have worn this jewelry, so it is named for her.  The Circe Necklace & Earrings will look great with your fantasy or role play dresses, as well as with formal attire.  Just use your imagination!  Plus, it is texture changing so it will give you many options without taking up too much inventory space.
I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Circe Necklace & Earrings.  Texture changing and available in 2 color sets--Classics and Brights.  Classics:  Malachite, Lapis, Garnet, Tiger Eye.  Brights:  Purple agate, Turquoise, Coral, & Peridot.  EJ mainshop:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/bono/221/224/22.
Hair:  Truth Hair--Alessandra in light browns.  Purchased full price.
Skin:  League Skins--Jen in pale.  Purchased full price.
Top Dress:  Evie's Closet--Aria in amethyst.  Purchased on sale.
Bottom Dress:  Snowpaws--Spree Dress in orchid.  I have no idea, could have been a lucky board or MM board gift.

Turquoise Rules!

I'm on a petite photo roll!  I keep mentioning that turquoise is something we need to be paying attention to...so here is another turquoise offering.  That just tickles me to death because I've always been a fan of turquoise--I don't suppose you've picked up on that.  This is the Petite Cadence Necklace & Earrings.  Now, it's texture changing and there are three color sets to choose from, because I can never make up my mind.  (It's kind of like when I was a teenager and would go shopping with my Dad.  "I just don't know which one I like the best"....."Oh, honey, just get them both".  HeHe.)  The metal doesn't change, but the stones do.  Set #3 is shown above and has turquoise, chrysoprase, red jasper, and sugalite with this lovely radiating silver medallion.  Set #1 is shown below--another silver motif with moonstone, red sea coral, amber, and emerald.

Set #2 is in the bottom photo.  It features a gold and onyx filigree medallion with stones in onyx, lapis, amethyst, and garnet, and is a bit more formal.   Oh, and that's the new Petite Engagement & Wedding rings I'm wearing in the bottom photo--more on that later.  Although these are photos of the petite version of the Cadence jewelry, all of them are available in "biggie" size at the ELEMENTAL JEWELRY mainshop, conveniently located right next door to the PETITE mainshop.

Here are the slurls that will take you to both shops:

To Be Fae, Or Not To Be Fae, That Is The Question

I just couldn't make up my mind in what order to put these photos.  I was really going for an elf/fairy theme to start with, but then I drifted off to the jewelry emphasis--which I suppose is appropriate for this blog.  I really like this set of jewelry, so I finally decided to move this photo to the top so you could get a good view--it's a close up shot of the new Sylvain Necklace & Earrings in gold with aquamarine stones.  There are two sets, both of which change textures to give you gold or silver, and a choice of 4 gemstones.  The aquamarine is in set #1, which also includes a green turquoise, amethyst (shown at the bottom), and a lovely coral.  Set #2 includes amber (shown in photo 2 and 3), a pretty blue abalone, gold agate, and jade.  See...I did start off with fairies and elves on my mind--even as I was building.

You can find both Sylvain sets at the ELEMENTAL JEWELRY mainshop:

Tessa's Traditional Holiday

Don't you think that Christmas is a time for tradition and classics?  I'm at my friend Celeste's house admiring her Christmas tree and wondering whether any of those pretty gifts are for me.  Hmm.  Should I shake the largest one, or the smallest...

I'm wearing a very festive, red dress just right for my traditional holiday color scheme, and the Victoria Necklace & Earrings from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--a very classic design.  This jewelry comes in 4 color packs, the one above being the "Royals", which includes this vibrant red garnet and green tsavorite--perfect for my traditional holiday garb!  You can mix and match the stones--choose two colors, or go with all the same stone.  There are 4 stone choices in each pack, as well as gold and silver metal.  The other packs include "Pastels" (shown below), "Bolds", and "Neutrals".  All are available at the mainshop, as well as next door at the PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY shop.

Here are slurls to pop you right over to the shops:

The Petite Goddess Athena

I'm showing off my newest petite dresses!  The one above is from a favorite shop of mine - Sn@tch.  (No, that's not a link, it's one of those automatic computer things.)  The two below are from another favorite..Kastle Rock Petites.  And...I'm at a new sim that is petite friendly...Kingdom Phantasia.  KP is a medieval themed sim, but everyone is welcome.  Look closely, because hidden in some groves of trees are some special petite places.

Well, after some tinkering on my part, you can now have the Athena Necklace and Earrings to fit your petite mesh avatar.  And it's texture changing!  Now remember, for petites it's a bit tricky changing those textures.  You have to swing your camera behind the avi, and zoom in in order to click on the earrings.  And sometimes you have to do the same for close fitting necklaces, although for the Athena you can just click the necklace from the front.  Petite Athena comes in your choice of gold or silver.  Each has texture changing stones.  The gold set has Ruby, Jade, Lapis Lazuli, and Purple Sapphire.  The silver set has Pink Tourmaline, Purple Sugalite, Turquoise, and Tiger Eye.

Here's the slurl for the new location of PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY:

While you're there, be sure to check out all of the Petite Hunts going on right now.  There are tons of gifts or near gifts to be had!

And a photo of me standing in front of the new shop wearing last week's new petite release...The Zelda Beads & Earrings....also texture changing.  You will notice also that the necklace is a bit longer than most petite necklaces.  I've had some comments that it would be nice to have some for petites, so here you go!

Bottom Jewelry:  PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Petite Zelda Beads & Earrings--texture changing between gold/silver, with lots of stone textures.

Golden Swirls

You know that I love those brightly colored stones, but you just have to have some neutral gold and silver jewelry in your wardrobe.  This is the ELEMENTAL JEWELRY Golden Swirls Necklace & Earrings, which is new at the Designer Showcase this week.  (Only L$70 for the set.)  (The silver version will be out soon!)  I thought it looked pretty good with my new dress from Snowpaws--this beautiful, poofy blue dress is a gift for the Where is the Concert Hunt--thanks Carrie!

Designer Showcase @ Flawless:  http://slurl.com/secondlife/Flawless/119/241/27

Oh, and while you're at the Flawless Sim, there is a big Valentine's Event on the entire sim.  Look for the red hearts in the shops--tons of cool stuff marked down at least 50%.  And there are carts all around the sim with even bigger mark downs, from Flawless designers, as well as designers from all over the grid.  Every cart has at least one item that is L$10 or less.  ELEMENTAL has a cart right in front of the Designer Showcase, and a shop just about a block up on the corner.

That Old Black Magic Has Me Under It's Spell

I was watching a show the other night and one of the characters, a witch, was wearing a necklace that caught my eye.  I've made a couple of similar necklaces for SL--The Witch's Jewel I and II.  Both include an engraved silver pendant strung on a black velvet cord with silver specks.  The stones are simple round glowing orbs with a touch of animation, and of course they are texture changing.  Witch's Jewel I is Blue Opal, Tiger Eye, Pink Topaz, or White Moonstone (pictured below in Blue Opal).  Witch's Jewel II is White Opal (above), Dark Amber, Green Peridot, or Amethyst.  The necklaces are resizable so you can make adjustments for your own avatar.

ELEMENTAL JEWELRY inworld:  http://slurl.com/secondlife/Belle%20Island/231/65/24

Both necklaces are in the 60L Weekend sale this weekend.

I'm also wearing:
Dress:  Snowpaw's Caligrafit gown--plum.
Hair:  (Top photo)--Analog Dog Embrace; (Bottom photo)--Truth Bronte.
Skin:  Essences Sarah skin for The Fashion Garrett 8th edition.  I love this skin--I'm sure you've noticed.

I'm using the Herbalist's Workbench from METAPHYSICAL MERCANTILE--located right next door to the ELEMENTAL mainshop on Belle Island.  Pretty cool--and on sale this weekend for L$100!
