Circe's Jewels

Circe, Greek goddess of magic, daughter of Helios & Perse, exiled to an island for murdering her husband (wonder what he did?).  Here she is, searching the woods for herbs to use in her potions.  When I was a child, my school library had a huge book about gods and goddesses.  It was filled with beautiful pictures of the immortals, and I loved to check it out and look at those pictures.  I am still fascinated by the tales and enjoy designing jewelry that I think the goddesses might wear.  Thus, the frequent theme.

I think Circe might have worn this jewelry, so it is named for her.  The Circe Necklace & Earrings will look great with your fantasy or role play dresses, as well as with formal attire.  Just use your imagination!  Plus, it is texture changing so it will give you many options without taking up too much inventory space.

Phaedra's Adornment

I've been snapping pics of  my standard size avatar and my petite self, so I decided to chunk the "biggie" and petite photos together in one post.  Usually, I make a necklace then I make earrings to match, but this time around, all I could think about were earrings.  So, I made this really cool pair of earrings--a hoop with little abalone beads attached with twisted wire, and a square stone dangling from the hoop.  And, of course, a necklace followed.  I'm calling this the Phaedra's Adornment Necklace & Earrings.  They come in 3 texture changing sets and surely anyone would find a color set that pleases them.  The stones include:  Turquoise, Sugalite, Green Turquoise, Fire Agate (shown above), Chrysoprase, Chrysocolla, Rose Quartz, Yellow Sapphire, Amethyst, Rube (shown below on petite me), Blue Jasper, and Spiderweb Obsidian.  Each set also includes 8 different Abalone choices for the beads.  I love colorful gemstones!

Here's petite me sporting a new outfit from Sister Fate--and it was a hunt gift for the Roses Are Red Hunt!  This was a fantastic hunt gift, a re-colored version of one of their regular outfits, including the lovely top, leggings, and tiny shoes.  And, I just had to throw in this photo of me and my friends to show you the wide variations in avatar size.  I'm a fairly tall gal, but my friend Celeste (in the tiara) is a little package.  Celette and Suzette are petites--now you can really see the contrast!  It's a challenge making jewelry to fit them.  Hey!  Where's their jewelry?!  lol.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Phaedra's Adornment Necklace & Earrings, Brights.  PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Phaedra's Adornment in Classics.  Also in Pastels.  Celeste's tiara is also from EJ.  Here's a slurl to the mainshop:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/bono/221/224/22.  The petite shop is right next door.

Hair:  Diva Hair--Manon in citrine.  Purchased full price.
Eyes:  Mayfly--Liquid Light Mesh Eyes, amber.  Purchased on sale.

Shoes:  G Field--Knot Wedge Sandas, copper.  Purchased full price.
Red Petite Outfit:  Sister Fate--Petites Veronica.  From Roses Are Red Hunt.

Raquel Is Looking Forward To Spring!

I'm wishing for springtime, so this week I have to offer a new jewelry release called Raquel--a casual set with pretty, chunky stones in vivid colors.  This jewelry is perfect to wear with your jeans or with a cute spring dress.  There are 3 color sets from which to choose-- Lights, Bolds, and Earthtones--and here you see an example of each.  At the top, Earthtones, which includes this Spiderweb Obsidian.  I think you will like this black stone as much as I do.  It's difficult to come up with a black that has some character to set it apart, but this obsidian has white "spiderweb" veins running through it for just the right amount of variation.  Also included in Earthtones is a pretty Rutilated Quartz, Moonstone, and Amber.  The dangling pearl adds just enough of a "girly" touch.

Photo #2--The Lights set, which includes this beautiful Amazonite stone as well as a very lovely green Chrosoprase, Pink Opal, and Lavender Chalcedony.  Now, that's a set of springtime colors!

And, last but not least, I can never resist a set of bright Bold colors.  The Bold set includes this Amethyst and a gorgeous "peacock" Chrysocolla with blue and green shades, a peachy Coral, and Jade.

Here's a slurl to the NEW ELEMENTAL JEWELRY location.  That's right, we had to move rather unexpectedly, so be sure to delete your old landmarks and get the new one.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Raquel Pendant & Earrings, Texture Changing sets in Bolds, Lights, and Earthtones, and each changes between Silver & Gold.  You can resize for a custom fit, and adjust the glow, shine, and full bright to your liking.
Hair:  Truth Hair--Rhonda in browns.  Purchased full price.
Skin:  League Skins--Jen in pales.  Purchased full price.  League has some very pricey skins, but OMG are they beautiful.  I had to save my lindens for months to buy this, but I'm really enjoying it.
Eyes:  Mayfly--Liquid Light Mesh Eyes in dusky hazel.  Yep!  I'm sporting some new eyes!  I didn't think I'd ever find some I liked as well as my old ones from Sin Skins, but these are just beautiful.  They come in a huge array of colors, and are very reasonably priced at only $99L each.  I really appreciate that, and I will be back for more.  This pair was purchased on sale for 60L!
Top:  The Sea Hole--LaceBack Tank, which I have in several colors.  Purchased on sale.
Location:  Tuckerdoo's Photo Studio.  My friend Tucker has a new photography studio where you can have individual or group photos made.  Lucky me gets to use the studio!
