Bewitched Opalescence

I know it's a bit early to be dressed up for Halloween, but I just couldn't help myself!  I bought this fantastic black dress at Kastle Rock Couture and thought it would be a great dress for the holiday.  I was working on a set of jewelry called Opalescence in Light and Dark Opals, and I decided that it would be perfect for the season with some dark, eery opals.  I also added a dark metal texture that really sets it off.  Above is the Bewitched Opalescence set with dark metal and Purple Night opals.

OMG!  Look behind you Tessa!!  lol.  I call this opal "fire" because with the black background and flame colored highlights...well, it reminds me of fire.  Perfect for All Hallow's Eve.

And what's Halloween without some green, glowy slime?  This black opal has green fire, and is called "green glow".

Last, but not at all least, is a bit cheerier orange opal called "pumpkin".  I'm thinking of carving some jack-o-lanterns.  I never buy anything but real pumpkins, and I carve them myself--it has to be my favorite Halloween activity.

You will also find Light Opalescence jewelry with brighter opals in blue, pink, yellow, and purple.  And there is Dark Opalscence jewelry with smoky opals in blue, green, pink, and black.  All three sets have texture changing metal as well--gold, silver, and dark metal.

And...all three sets are on sale this week in the 60L Weekend Sale!  Run on over to the new ELEMENTAL JEWELRY shop and get dressed up for the season!  Here's a slurl to the mainshop inworld:

The Petite Goddess Athena

I'm showing off my newest petite dresses!  The one above is from a favorite shop of mine - Sn@tch.  (No, that's not a link, it's one of those automatic computer things.)  The two below are from another favorite..Kastle Rock Petites.  And...I'm at a new sim that is petite friendly...Kingdom Phantasia.  KP is a medieval themed sim, but everyone is welcome.  Look closely, because hidden in some groves of trees are some special petite places.

Well, after some tinkering on my part, you can now have the Athena Necklace and Earrings to fit your petite mesh avatar.  And it's texture changing!  Now remember, for petites it's a bit tricky changing those textures.  You have to swing your camera behind the avi, and zoom in in order to click on the earrings.  And sometimes you have to do the same for close fitting necklaces, although for the Athena you can just click the necklace from the front.  Petite Athena comes in your choice of gold or silver.  Each has texture changing stones.  The gold set has Ruby, Jade, Lapis Lazuli, and Purple Sapphire.  The silver set has Pink Tourmaline, Purple Sugalite, Turquoise, and Tiger Eye.

Here's the slurl for the new location of PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY:

And a photo of me standing in front of the new shop wearing last week's new petite release...The Zelda Beads & Earrings....also texture changing.  You will notice also that the necklace is a bit longer than most petite necklaces.  I've had some comments that it would be nice to have some for petites, so here you go!

Chloris--A Jewelry Tribute To The Greek Goddess Of Flowers

Okay, I watched a show about gods & goddesses in various cultures, so I've been reading a bit about them--thus the recent jewelry names.  lol.  Chloris was the Greek goddess of flowers--and I thought Cloris (no"h") was just a very funny lady!  In honor of the goddess--ELEMENTAL JEWELRY presents the Chloris Necklaces and Earrings.  The lariat necklace is a long chain with a floral motif on one end, and a long, slender stone on the other.  The end slips through an open flower petal to form the necklace.  There are 3 sets--each is texture changing with either gold or silver metal and a choice of 3 lovely gemstones.  Set #1 includes Blue Chalcedony, Rose Quartz, & Green Aventurine.  Set #2--Gold Aventurine (great for your fall colors), Lapis Lazuli, & Green Peridot.  Set #3--Red Coral, Black Onyx, & Purple Sugalite.  Plus, you control the amount of glow, shine, transparency, and full bright.  And, of course, it is resizable for a customized fit.  (The instructions for the change menu have been updated to help you navigate the menus.  It's really easy once you see the scheme, but there was some understandable confusion between "color" and "texture".)  I think the blue chalcedony and green aventurine look really good with about 20% transparency.

Zelda Is At The New Elemental Jewelry Shop!

A few weeks ago, I was watching a movie set in the 1920's, and I noticed some of the beautiful, long beads that the women were wearing.  (You just knew that the jewelry always catches my eye, right?!)  This inspired the Zelda beads and earrings shown here.  They are available in three texture-changing color sets--"Pastels" (green aventurine, pink rhodochrosite, blue lace agate, and yellow sapphire), "Royals" (purple sugalite, green tsavarite, blue lapis, red garnet), "Tropicals" (aqua jasper, green jasper, fire agate, gold abalone).  The metal changes between gold and silver.

You can find the Zelda sets at the ELEMENTAL JEWELRY main shop in SL--which, by the way has moved!!  Well, it didn't go far--it's next door to the old location, but it's much more spacious.  PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY is now located in the old EJ spot, and it has also gained some floor space.  The petite shop isn't quite finished, but you should go have a look at the progress, check out the sales at both shops, and snag a few hunt gifts.  We are currently in the Twisted Hunt, Steam 7 Hunt, Nature's Hunt Miracles of Autumn, Harvest Moon Hunt (just until Sept 16), Darkling Hunt, and Big Things Small Packages Hunt.   Here are the new slurls:

When I first came to SL and started building a sim, one of the best garden centers I found was Antique Artistry.  If you have never been there, I suggest that you pay them a visit.  It's a beautiful place to roam around, and you just might find something you need to beautify your SL home or garden--and at very reasonable prices.  Not to mention that there are tons of places to take pretty photos!  In these snaps, I have on some great new hair from Truth and a new dress that I acquired by standing for a very long time in front of a lucky board at Sn@tch.  Didn't think that "C" would ever pop up!  Lol.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELERY--Zelda Beads & Earrings.
Hair:  Truth Hair--Tristana--blondes.  Purchased full price.
Dresses:  Sn@tch-- Awe Shucks fat pack.  Lucky board prize.
Location:  Antique Artistry.

Petite Floral Dream

It's been a while since I did a post with petite me.  I'm at Wonderoaks having a look around at this very pretty sim--it's truly a fairy wonderland.  I'm wearing a pretty new dress from Just Winging It and new petite jewelry from PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY.  This is the Petite Floral Dream Choker & Earrings.  The sets come in gold or silver and each has 2 stone choices.  The silver comes in either amethyst (above) or chrysocolla (bottom).  The gold set comes in either malachite (below) or lapis lazuli (not shown).  I tried to make this texture changing like the standard size model, but it just wouldn't work.  You know I've mentioned before that it's difficult to click on petite jewelry to make the texture change.  Well, this close-fitting choker was impossible.  Sorry little folks!  But, on the bright side, it is available in 4 lovely choices.

The Petite Floral Dream sets will be available starting this Friday, and 2 of the sets will be on sale.  The chrysocolla set is in the 50L Weekend Deal sale, and the Malachite set is in the Petite Shopping Spree sale for only 60L.

Here's a slurl to the PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY mainshop:

Now, when you get there you will probably find a huge mess!  I'm in the middle of remodeling, so the shop building has been moved forward, and you will land right at the shop door, where you will find a table holding all of my current hunt gift objects.  By this time next week, PETITE ELEMENTAL and ELEMENTAL will have switched places.  More space for more goodness!

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  PETITE ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--Petite Floral Dream Choker and Earrings.
Hair:  Diva--Diva 2 in rhodolite.  Group gift.
Dress:  Just Winging It--Brown Sugar Faerie.  Review copy from my friend Moonbeam Jillybean.
