Here's The Secret...These Blossoms Are Bewitched!

Just call me Samantha 'cause I'm feeling bewitched!  LOL.  Look at this gorgeous new dress from PurpleMoon.  I love it!  It's part of a new retro line, and you really must go have a look.  I had a difficult time making up my mind which color to buy, and I may yet go back for more.  Plus, I really needed something beautifully golden to wear with my new Bewitched Blossoms jewelry.  The set I'm wearing is yellow coreopsis--one of the newest releases at ELEMENTAL JEWELRY.

A couple of years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) I was taking some photos in my garden, and it struck me that the colors would be fabulous for jewelry.  So I played with it and came up with the Bewitched Blossoms jewelry concept--flowers encased in faceted, glowy gems.  At a distance, they look like beautifully colored, sparkly gems.  But if you zoom in, you see the stunning secret!

I love them all, but the pink orchid version below is my absolute favorite.  The original Bewitched Blossoms jewelry is being phased out, but it's all being replaced by updated items.  The textures have been improved, the design has been updated for better resizing, and the necklace is now layered with a semi-precious gemstone pendant.  You'll find lapis lazuli with the blue hydrangea necklace, yellow sapphire with the yellow coreopsis, and pink rhodochrosite with the pink orchid.

These three sets were in the 60L Weekend Sale for April 28, but since I'm late on my blogging I will leave the sale for a couple of extra days.  (I was late because I just opened a new shop--more later.)  Hop on over to ELEMENTAL JEWELRY  and get a set before the sale ends!

You Can Never Have Too Many Pearls...

About a week ago I blogged the Audrey pearls & earrings--a take off on the classic using colorful Tahitian pearls.  (Although there was the obligatory set of white ones--very classy with touches of gold and black onyx.)  This set had a cheerful, springtime floral motif, and an additional colored feature stone.  Well, one of my blogger friends, Deoridhe Quandry, did a beautiful layout with the blue pearls, but noted that she would have been much happier if they had come with a bracelet and hair ornament.  Well, we must keep Deoridhe happy!  This week at ELEMENTAL JEWELRY, you will find sets of lovely bracelets and hair ornaments in a colorful array of Tahitian pearls and stones--pink, blue, green, gold, violet, and classic white.  And I have to say that Deoridhe was right--I LOVE the hair ornaments.  Great idea!  Here I am wearing the violet set once again....love that violet, just can't help myself.

I'm at Inverness City, standing on the wall of Brody Castle.  If you look carefully over my left shoulder, you will see Nessy going for a swim.  LOL.  What a great touch.

Here's a tip:  If you bought any of the pearls that were on sale in last week's 60L Weekend sale, you will be able to get the matching accessories in this week's sale.  Each set includes left & right bracelets & hair ornaments.  Enjoy!

Finally! Some Jewelry To Match That Periwinkle Dress!

This jewelry set is a bit fancy for some people, but I really like it.  And, hey, every now and then you just have to get all gussied up!  I've had this dress for some time, but it's still a favorite.  It's inspired by a Marilyn Monroe dress--the white one she is wearing when she stands on that air duct.  It even comes with the air duct animation that blows the skirt up!  How good is that?  I purchased the dress in this lovely periwinkle color instead of white, and I've always had to wear neutrel jewelry with it.  But then I made this blue moonstone texture and it's a perfect match.  Yay!

This is the Oracle Necklace & Earrings in a special edition for the Designer Showcase--silver with blue moonstone.  (The original jewelry has texture changing stones.)  The set is currently at the special price of L$95 for both the necklace & earrings--a steal.  We'll be changing the sale items at DS soon, so run on over and have a look.

Pearls For Audrey

In the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's, Audrey Hepburn wears this amazing set of pearls.  Using that as inspiration, here is a set of sl pearls with a sweet daisy motif instead of diamond.  Yes, there is the classic white set, which has a gold daisy with black onyx center stone.  But there are also several sets with colorful tahitian pearls--Violet tahitian pearls with moonstone daisy & orange jasper center, Blue pearls with peach moonstone center.  Not pictured--Pink pearls with green turquoise center, Green pearls with blue moonstone center, and Gold pearls with purple agate center.

The pearls are sold in sets with matching earrings--and the three shown above are in the 60L Weekend Sale this weekend--Only 60L for each set!  You can find them at ELEMENTAL JEWELRY inworld:

Pink And Meshy

Well, I finally purchased a mesh dress, and I am showing it off!  I've always avoided straight skirts and dresses because I didn't like the little prim thingy--you know the one I'm referring to.  This is a brand new cocktail dress from one of my favorites--PurpleMoon--and I like it very well.  I'm also wearing a special edition jewelry set from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY that matches perfectly.  The jewelry is the Persephone layered pendant & earrings in silver & rhodochrosite--now at the Designer Showcase.  Note--I did find that I had to adjust the positioning of the necklace so it didn't sink into the mesh.

Here's a slurl for the Designer Showcase:  http://slurl.com/secondlife/Flawless/118/240/27
