A Kaleidoscope Of Color

I'm still thinking about springtime and all of the beautiful spring flowers popping up in my garden.  I'm wearing a great new dress from LaVie in a stunning blue color, and new jewelry from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--the Kaleidoscope Necklace & Earrings in silver with multi-colored stones.  The stones shown include pink rhodochrosite, blue jasper, orange jasper, green turquoise, and purple sugalite.  Very bright and beautiful!  But, if it's too bright for you, the set is also available in silver with turquoise stones.

Spring Colors Are Blooming!

It sure is feeling like spring, and that makes me want to wear some spring colors.  I found this gorgeous green dress at I Aleida, and it looks great with a complementary purple necklace and earrings.  This is the new Persephone Necklace & Earrings in silver with sugalite stones.  There are also some purple and mother-of-pearl beads thrown in.  You can wear the double pendant, or you can remove the top pendant and just have the doubled beads with one pendant.

The Persephone jewelry is at ELEMENTAL JEWELRY for a steal this weekend in the 60L Weekend sale, and if you don't like purple, it's available in other colors.  There is a lovely blue jasper, an orange jasper set, and a green jasper set. (A special edition pink rhodochrosite set will be coming out soon!)

Here's a lm to ELEMENTAL JEWELRY inworld:

I just had to show you a full length shot of this dress--really pretty.   Below you'll see the other available colors of the Persephone set:

Sensuous Winds...

If you've never been to the Designer Showcase at Flawless, you need to take a peek. Twice monthly a group of designers offer a DS special for their customers--and you can find some excellent buys.  I'm happy to say that I am a member of this group.  The latest offering began on March 15 and pictured here is the Sensuous Wind Necklace & Earrings, Special Edition for Designer Showcase, by ELEMENTAL JEWELRY.  This is an early design, but one of my personal favorites.  So, I decided it was time for an update--everything is reworked and improved, but the design is essentially unchanged.  The new jewelry is gold with texture changing beads in Lapis Lazuli, Ruby, Tsavorite, or Pearl.  (See small insert at the bottom of this post for color samples.)

Here's your taxi to Designer Showcase inworld:

A Walk Through The Isles

It's nearly St. Patrick's Day, so I'm in the mood to walk across the Irish countryside and snap a few pics.  I found a beautiful sim called Saerlaith and here I am standing at the very top of the lighthouse overlooking the isles.  This is a very well designed sim and worth exploring.  Also, I'm wearing some new jewelry.  I just couldn't bring myself to use shamrocks, so I decided to use another overused design--the celtic knot.  Well, knots may be overused, but I really, really like them.  Coupled with a bit of emerald green, I think they make a lovely St. Patrick's Day set.  Don't you agree?

I'm still working on my sl photography skills--of course, it's an ongoing process.  I'm open to constructive criticism--how am I doing?

And for the closeups--sorry, but the jewelry just has to be the focus for me.  That's some really nice skin and hair too.

I'm wearing:
Jewelry:  ELEMENTAL JEWELRY Mean Green Celtic Necklace & Earrings.  The necklace is a hunt gift for the Mean Green Hunt, and the matching earrings are the March Group Gift.  Yay!!

Ric Rac, Turquoise, & The Sandpiper!

Wow!  I don't feel like I even need to blog my new release after Peny's post on Syle-My-SL,  But the contrast is interesting, isn't it?  There is Peny, all mysterious and black, and here I am with blue ric-rac!  I'm having a day out at the Sandpiper Art Gallery, wearing my new dress from the Sea Hole.  And, of course, I'm wearing the new jewelry from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY--the Sierra Necklace & Earrings in Turquoise & Coral.  (Yes, I'm on a turquoise roll--expect more in the near future.)

Let's move in for a closeup--I really like the earrings.  Here, the jewelry is shown in daylight with no fullbright.  I prefer that because I think there is more definition to the piece and the textures that way.  But for all you gals that like your jewelry to show up at night, I've included a separate set of fullbright jewels in each package.  And you can grab either the earrings or necklace for a steal this weekend--Only 60L each in the 60L Weekend Sale!

Also, have a look at my Flickr page:

Take The Turquoise Challenge!

I really like turquoise, and I've always thought of it as something to be worn with more casual clothes. However, I recently saw someone wearing a chunky turquoise necklace--with black formal wear. I was blown away! I would never have put the two together, but it looked fantastic. So I decided to make a double stranded, chunky turquoise necklace for a bold fashion statement.  The Panache Turquoise Necklace & Earrings from ELEMENTAL JEWELRY is our new release this week.  Take THE TURQUOISE CHALLENGE!  Use turquoise as part of a more formal look!

I'm thinking the turquoise jewelry might also look great with a complementary red gown.  Anyone want to try that combination?

But I'm always going to grab turquoise to go with my daywear.  Here I am relaxing in this pretty swing, all decked out in a turquoise tank and skirt, with my chunky turquoise jewelry.
